I really like the candy sweets they are so nice! My mum would always buy me them when I was little! If I won I’d definitely give them to my mum!
I had a very ‘little boy’s’ attitude to these. “These are GIRLS sweets mummy!”. If the outrageous happened and I was ever given these I’d always cut the elasticy string with scissors so they were no longer in necklace or bracelet form 😉
I haven’t had a candy necklace for about 15 years! Mmm, I would love one now though!
I remember these from when I was little! I used to put on my necklace then eat it from around my neck (by pulling the elastic into my mouth!). I also have one bad memory – when my brother grabbed it then let go so the elastic and sweeties flicked back and hit me in the face !!! Ouch lol! It didn’t put me off eating them though x
Parma violets, bubblegum flavour turtles (which were green and sold for 1p each), shrimps, bananas, flying saucers, milk bottles, white mice…these are just some of the sweets I used to love as a kid.
love this when i was a child i use to wear them and feel like a princess then later enjoy eating them one by one
I love the necklace sweets,I would love to win some as reminds me of my childhood when I ate them one at a time.
used to love these too – think they would be great for my best friend’s hen night
These are yummy! I buy these for my daughter (and bite off a few sweets when she’s not looking!)
I love these! used to wear them around my arm and bite off a few at a time 🙂
OMG…These are making me reminisce about the past! I used to love the scent and would wear them for ages before slowly nibbling at them!
I WOULD LOVE THIS!
used to have flick fights with these!!
Used to love these as a child.
I loved these as a child,my daughters loved them and now my granddaughters love them as well.
oooh these take me back! used to love these, always loved the smell
“The Pink ones are for girls. The Blue ones are for boys” – wisdom of a 5 year old.
A candy necklace shows the height of good taste!
i would love to win these …. mainly so i can ping them back at the people that used to ping them at me !! (my 4 brothers) !!
brings back memoires these for sure and still going today ,my daughter loves biting on them a big favourite for me too if i can get them before my daughter
I once chipped a tooth biting into these but luckily it was only a baby tooth 😉 It taught me a whole new respect for hard candy and haven’t had a candy necklace since…but am very willing to give them another ‘crack’!
LILY MY GRANDAUGHTER WILL LOVE THESE
I used to be devastated when I had eaten the last sweet and all that was left was string! x
I loved getting these necklaces. I was never allowed many sweets as a child and I loved these because I could make them last for ages and flick them at my very annoying older sisters 🙂
these are great,, i used them at a hen night i organised…all the hens had a necklace and had to get men to bite one off…each man one bite. at the end of the night the one with the least left was the winner x
I always used to wear these for as long as possible, they never lasted long lol!
Absolutly love these. They take me back to childhood
I remember these sweets got banned from our school, people would bit one half then fire the second half like a catapult!! x
Wow the one fun and yummy way to keep the kids quiet. However my husband showed me a new trick with them the other day which was how to fire them across the room using the elastic they are on. Best not show the kids that one haha
Eat and flick! love um
oooh this takes me back! I used to love these
These had three uses.
The Good) They were a tasty and sneaky little treat in the classroom while wearing them under a long-sleeved blazer.
The bad) Some ‘models’ (Ha) included a watch. The watch never changed time. It could’ve confused children to think they’ve stopped time, just like Bernard’s watch.
The Ugly) These were the artillery shells of the school playground.
i used to love these when were in school although they used to be used as weapons buy biting half and using the elastic to flick them lol now my daughter loves these but i think ill not tell her bout the flicking part otherwise ill have a candy in my eyes not just my belly
i still buy these from my local wholesales loved them as a child and love them now. have also passed on the love of these necklaces to my 4 kiddies, they are totally hooked 😉
when i was a child i loved these necklaces / bracelets… however now in this sex driven day and age they make bras and thongs out of these lol, whatever next 😉
I used to love firing these at any unsuspecting family members! This was definitely just as much fun as eating them, and to be honest…I’d probably still do the same now!
ohhhh deffo great sweets when at school, used to fire them at kids and teachers lol
Looks great xx
These bring back memories
i used to love these when i was younger, would love to have these again.
YUMMY.
Ooooohhhh I LOVE candy Necklaces I used to always wear them when I was little and have a munch now and then they used to last me hours LOL 🙂
Ohh, loved these when my mum bought them for me
these bring back some good times there great
Tiffany’s will not get a look in this summer – the ultimate Summer Ball accessory is the Candy Necklace 🙂
Towards the end of the evening they will give you that extra boost of energy to get you through till morning!
Now THAT is my kind of jewellery!
I managed to pull one of my teeth out on a candy necklace when I was about 7. My 6 year old daughter has her first wobbly tooth so if I was lucky enough to win I would give the necklace to her so we can start a gruesome family tradition!
Oh how i loved and still love these. i always had a sticky neck as a child from licking them as little as i could before crunching them off the elastic.
simontink@aol.com
they really are the best something you can wear AND eat!!!!!

Amazing !My kids will love it !
Great sweets- I always felt like a princess eating these
I remember this was a must have with the girls. I didn’t know you could still get them. I used to see how long I could not eat it for as I enjoyed wering it as a necklace.
i know someone who would just love to give these a good home.
We used to buy these at the sweetie stall at our school plays then see how many we could eat without snapping the string!
Ahh I remember the day’s when I was too eager to get to the sweets, which then resulted in the familiar ‘snap back’ of the elastic, this necklace may have improved my patience as a young girl….who am I kidding I never learnt! ‘*SNAP*…Mmmm yum’…Yummy pretty delights!
Loved trying to amaze my friends with the fact that these were not only a stylish fashion accessory but edible too – never grew old lol :0
A sweet that brings back memories…
Loved these as a kid, aslo remember the candy watches as well
My 4 year old granddaughtern ruby just loves these candy necklaces and to be honest i love them too.
hopefully the irish can enter – dont want them for the kids – dont have any – want them for me and my mates were on a commitee to keep our local dentist in business with the recession 😛
Aw these would be great for my best friend’s hen party next Saturday. We’re holding a mad hatter garden party for her and would love to give these out to guests as a little retro prezzie! X
my kids would love these and keep them going over the summer holidays. but then i love them too and think that might keep us all going teehee
Ahh.. I remember these when I were a lad. It was my first watch that I owned. All being, not for very long as I always gave in to temptation. What I do remember was the amount of spit that would fly off the elastic when you bit a few off a time.. those were the days…
Great accessory. My grandaughter loves these as she can wear them and eat them when she wants. Even my grandson has started to wear them!!!
ahh a classic, the sweetie necklaces and watch were a mixture bag staple. You would find bits of them everywhere
Hahaha! I remember the days where me and my friends would buy these, eat half of each sweet and use the other half as ammo. Holding it between your teeth, pulling it back on the elastic and fireing them at friends :p – or aiming them into a bowl. Sweet battles were ace!
Colourful costume jewellery……very tasty too. Someone needs to make candy clothes! I’m so glad you can never grow out of sweets.
WE use to bite the sweets in half and ping them at people using the elastic. My BF (when i was 14… AWWWWWWwww how cute!) flicked one at a dogs bum once!!
My kids love these. They would be a huge hit at my daughters birthday party…if they could last until then with mummy eyeing them up :-p
Candy necklaces are the real thing; tastier and cheaper than your high street bling!!!
Yes boiz! Been looking all over for these, and now realise this website exists. Love it – and so will my girlfriend if i win then! hahaha 😀 x
mmm used to love theese as a kid lol
This brings back memories from my school days
When i was a young man, i thought i looked pretty suave with my candy watch!
My daughter is 22 and she still buys them !!!!!! lol
ooh these are brilliant
used to love these as a child(still do if i’m honest), would love to win some for my daughters b’day party 🙂
i used to love dressing up in these sweets and pretending that they were expensive jewlerery – But now i’m older i find out that they have made a mockery my making ‘adult only’ versions. why can’t we stick to the originals
Sweetly jeweled
Memories!!!! I’d love to share these with the kids x
The best thing about these necklaces is pinging them at people!
I’d show all those poorly dressed TOWIE girls what classy and tasteful necklaces really look like! 🙂
OH please let me win, my nephews have never tried these and they would love them.
We used to sometimes get these at the local shop – if the shopkeeper was in a very good mood! They were great and would go down a treat with my daughters…

I love candy necklaces, my favourite thing to do is sit in the back seat of the car bite one candy in half and flick the pieces at my brother. It’s hilarious and tasty.
I remember having these when I was younger, didn’t know you could still buy them
