This weeks lollipop was a big hit in the 90’s, and we’re sure you younger Chewbz fans will remember them well!

This weeks Retro sweet of the week is…
Ring Pops!
We used to be able to buy these sweet pieces of bling over here in Blighty, but now they seem to have disappeared from our shelves :(.
The Ring Pop is from the same family as the Push Pop, remember those?
Still popular over the pond, we’ve got 4 Ring Pops to give away this week. In Blue Raspberry, Cherry, Strawberry and Watermelon. Mmm!

I think I should win one because I reminded you of them 🙂 my fav is the blue raspberry one can always remember eating them and ending up with sticky hands and scraping my teeth on the outside which was not as hard as the middle

I remember they would always put back to back adverts on TV of Push Pops and Ring Pops. really can’t remember the Ring Pop one now, but Push Pops is for some readon etched onto my brain! Push a Push Pop, push it for flavour, push a Push Pop, save some for later! Those advertiser know how to turn kids into ‘want want want’ machines don’t they! 😉

I’d like to win one because these sweets were awesome!! Takes me right back to when I was a kid and we’d all run round the playground with these huge sweets on our fingers and get so sticky with them as well 🙂
I’d love to win as I’m trying to show my kids what proper sweets (I.e. Retro sweets) are as opposed to the rubbish that’s out now. There’s nothing with any character any more, we had all the greats. We need to stand up and protest and get the good stuff
back on the shelves!
i reckon i should win these fab ring pops just 4 the simple fact i really want 2 show my 2 children the childhood sweets i enjoyed as a little girl. and 2 give them the taste of my childhood they ask about 😀
