Happy Monday Chewbz fans, hope you’ve all had a great start to the week… and that we can help make it even sweeter for you!
This week we’re offering up a real British classic, as chosen by all you brilliant Chewbz fans :). If you Like our Facebook page, then you’ll already know that we asked Facebook fans to choose their favourite sunshine sweet.
Although Rhubarb & Custard’s came a real close second, it was another two tone boiled sweet that won your votes!

oh gosh i have been looking every where for these, im a hungry pregnant women on my last legs and these were my fav when i was a girl,tried so hard to get them every where, i remember when i was a smallie calling to my nana’s house and sitting out in her porch on the floor, eating these,stuffing my pockets before i left for home just so i would nt run out on the way there. and this is super mean but i would nt share them either, i know i know, its so mean but a girls gotta do what a girl gotta do lol. to win these would be a super cute treat, esp as im having a baby shower soon and i know all the ladies would love a trip down memory lane. so yummy yummy there is a baby in my tummy who needs these gorg strawberries and cream sweeties, so pick me,pick me,pick me xx

A Chewbz retro classic, a reminder of my past.
One things for sure, they’ll be devoured very fast!
Yum yum strawberries and cream,
Remind me of a childhood dream!
Of course I love the silky cream
And the strawberry taste’s a dream.
But also when I close my eyes
To my delight and great surprise
Images float around my head
Of memories I thought were dead.
Like tennis on our village court
And playing bowls and other sport,
Or perhaps lazing in deck chairs
Or strolling round the summer fairs.
Oh to suck them every day!
And for a while—- just dream away.
I remember our teacher handing out strawberry & creams sweets to all of us on the queens silver jubilee.We all dressed up in red,white and blue and made and decorated our own hats to wear.It was a fantastic day and i still look at the photograph we had taken of us on that day fondly.It would be lovely to have some again to share with others on the queens diamond jubilee.
Some of these are awful only one good one!
i rember as kids all going to shop n buysing swets and swapping them amonst ourselfs oh to be carefree again just for a in or so!!!
Days of sun and laughter
I remember buying and eating them after school with friends and hiding them from my brother as they were so delicious – never tried them since and that was many many years ago.
These so reming me of my childhood at my grandparents! Yummy! 🙂
my teacher use to give us these in our french class she called them bon bons
The Strawberrys and Cream
Are from a childhood dream
They tingle my sweet tooth
And remind me of my youth
Long live this retro theme
They are both naughty (strawberries) and nice (cream)!
As a sickly traveller strawberries and cream are great when im in the car, plane or train> Whenever we travel i have some and i only have to smell them to start reminiscing over past days out. Lovely memories
I love them as there scrummy,fresh,fine,divine
But the real reason I love them,is when the prize becomes all mine
It was my Mums favourite, whenever there was a few spare pennies that is was she bought us
I love these sweets – used to buy them in little paper bags from the corner shop!
They are our families most favourite two flavours joined together in one sweet. What more can you ask for.
I love strawberries and cream! They remind me of when I was a child and my mum would take me to the shop to buy sweets. It was always a hard choice between rhubarb and custard or strawberries and cream – obviously strawberries and cream always came first 😉 If I won these, it would really brighten up a rubbish year so far and take me back to when I was a child and everything was lovely 🙂
Love these as a kiddie version of traditional Wimbledon! Here comes the sun, dee, dar, dee dar (oh well I can wish!)

I love strawberrys and cream because they go togther like gin and tonic, boiled egg and soldiers, ice cream and cones, holly and ivy, ant and dec, laurel and hardy, cheese and biscuits, roastbeef and yorkshire puds, fish and chips all these things are ok on their own but excellent togther
I just love the taste of strawberry and cream sweets. Lets face it you think strawberries and cream and you think of the tennis! This then reminds you of the impending Summer and the warmer weather, sun, sea & beaches. I think everyone will be looking forward to the summer especially after the Winter we have all had 🙂

sunny days, childhood, wimbledon, happy memories and anticipation of delights to come !
It has been years since i have had any of these sweets, a real memory evoker of weekend spent with my nan and grandy, while he dug in the garden me and my cousin would sit and eat his boiled sweets… oh to have him back just once more 🙂
I dont love Strawberries & Cream, I am Strawberries & Cream. I have to consume 95% pure Strawberries & Cream just to make it through a day, the other 5% of my diet consists of BBQ Chicken and water. Occasionally the water is however replaced with cream.
they remind me of me gran, she always had them in her pocket, sometimes a little sticky, but yummy all the same, would love to win them for some special memory reminders xx
