We’ve had a few weeks of bright retro classics as sweet of the week, so we thought it was about time we chose something a little more traditional…
This weeks Retro sweet of the week is…

I love Aniseed Balls!! I remember every Saturday morning my mum dragged me food shopping with her and her horribly embarrassing brown shopping trolley to the Library to get a new book, then to Sainsbury’s then as a treat on way home (whilst I was grumbling that having to carry the loaves of bread in the carrier bag was too heavy…) she would buy some aniseed balls from a cute little old school style health food shop.
